Carol Service Collects: alternative All Age prayers (Redubbed / Rebooted)

Here are some of my alternative prayers that could work as Carol Service 'Collects' (prayers that gather together or sum things up)  and may fit straight after a bible reading in the 'lessons and carols' format. All of them have been written, keeping children in mind, with 'Waiting for Christmas' and 'Jesus Light of the World' being the simplest.

Patience in the Waiting (Redub): Longing for freedom and liberty
(Isaiah 9.2, 6, 7; Isaiah 40.3-11; Romans 8.18-25)

Waiting for Christmas: (Children's Reboot):
(Isaiah 40.3-11; Mark 1.1-13; Luke 2.1-7; Luke 3.1-6)

Annunciation: (Redub): Mary bearing Jesus / us becoming like Christ;
(Luke 1.26-38; Luke 1.46-55).

Why Christ Was Born (Redub)
(Luke 2.1-7; John 1.1-14; John 3.16-18)

Human and Divine: (Redub): Christ shares our human life and transforms us;
(John 1.1-14; Philippians 2.5-11).

Jesus Light of the World (Children's Reboot): Jesus is like the brightest sun
(Luke 2.8-20; John 1.1-14;)

God coming to us now (Redub): God's embrace, the world's liberation (John 1.1-14; 2 Thessalonians 1.1-12; Romans 8.18-25)

Hope of Christ coming to us (Redub): Jesus leads us to the new creation
(2 Thessalonians 1.1-12; Revelation 22.12-21)

Hope for a new creation: Clothing ourselves in Christ, letting go of all that diminishes;
(Isaiah 40.3-11; Mark 1.1-13; Luke 3.1-6; Romans 13.11-12, Colossians 3.12-17).

The project began Advent 2012.

Here's an Index of Prayers.

Here's the information on how a prayer is redubbed.

Here's the information on how a prayer is a rebooted.

If you want to use the prayers, an acknowledgement of myself as author and, if there's space, the url to my blog would be much appreciated.
