Inside the fiery gates

There was lots of fun and games on Tuesday when we had the first Church of Fools service, online, in 3D. I thought I was safely ensconced in my role as minister, leading the service. I have just found out though that I was there on a shaky basis (the tech explanation is via an http route, rather than a direct connection to the SpecialMoves server). So I was chucked off the thing, during a procession with the virtual Bishop of London! I'm happy though that media mileage has been made out of it, with the Church of Fools site describing it as the minister getting 'raptured' during the service -- ha ha ha! Steve Goddard and Simon Jenkins have done a superb job on the media end, with coverage in the Times, Scotsman, BBC Breakfast, CNN, PA and Reuters -- good work, eh!
