Days away

Well, between two trips to see my supervisor in Oxford I squeezed in 7 days away from York: plenty of train and cycle travel. Apart from Oxford I have visited Birmingham, the Firth of Clyde (including Arran, Cumbrae and Bute), Shropshire and Derby. I met up with 40 different people I know, two by chance on a train. I also managed a few hill rides on my bicycle and carried on with some more research in the gaps. I'm now past the 30,000 word mark plus the collection of eco-liturgies in the anthology I've been making, so I'm feeling fairly content. The other good news about the research is that my supervisor is pleased with progress, and I now have a new action plan and route to complete my upgrade chapter by the end of September.
